"Due to the uncertainty surrounding events in these challenging times with the COVID-19 pandemic we've made the difficult decision to cancel Forster-Tuncurry Running Festival 2020 which was scheduled to be held on Sunday, September 27," a statement on the event's Facebook page said.
"All registered runners will receive a full refund for any pre-paid entry fees. Please allow up to four weeks for this refund to be processed."
Organisers have earmarked September 12, 2021 as the new date for the 10th anniversary.
