The meetings will be live-streamed via the council website from 1pm, this Wednesday, July 8.
General manager, Adrian Panuccio said the ordinary meeting will consider council's 2020-2021 operational plan and budget, following closure of the the community feedback period which finished last week.
"Council received 10 formal submissions relating to the draft operational plan and budget, and as a result we've made several modifications to the actions and performance measures in the plan," Mr Panuccio said.
From 2pm, the strategic committee meeting will consider council's draft local strategic planning statement, which sets out a 20 year vision for land use and outlines the special character and values that are to be preserved and how changes will be managed in future.
The local strategic planning statement will then be placed on exhibition for community feedback, prior to its adoption.
The meeting will also receive an update on Taree's Northern Gateway Project, outlining how council is working with Transport for NSW to finalise a funding agreement and undertake improvements to transport infrastructure for the project.
