The upgrade is one of many court house and corrections facilities throughout the Stated being fast tracked by the State government.
Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead said the stimulus project would boost local economies that have been hit hard by COVID-19, bushfires and drought.
"The NSW Government has accelerated the tender and planning approval processes and is committed to prioritising Myall Lakes companies and suppliers where possible," Mr Bromhead said.
"It means tradies have been on the tools in record time, creating vital job opportunities for locals who need our support more than ever during this tough economic period."
The maintenance is well underway with a safe room used for domestic violence witnesses almost complete, while new carpet and a fresh coat of paint will finish-off the project.
"Carrying out renovations during the period of reduced court sittings in place to help manage the risks of the COVID-19 pandemic makes sense because fewer disruptions mean the work can be completed faster."
