General manager, Adrian Panuccio, said the operational plan detailed the projects and services council would deliver to the community for 2020-21, and included the budget for the same period.

The plan includes:
- developing a climate change action plan
- revising and updating the emergency plan after the bushfire events of 2019
- starting to deliver more than $2 million in Federal and State funding for bushfire recovery
- developing the MidCoast environmental plan and development control plan,
- developing MidCoast Cultural and Aboriginal action plans.
