A Gloucester cattle producer and a Worimi and Wonnarua First Nations woman with a background in Aboriginal community health are new appointments to the Hunter Local Land Services Board.

Jamie Andrews of Gloucester and Elizabeth McEntyre of Tea Gardens are the new faces on the 2020 board. They are joined by
- Tony Hegarty of Cassilis, who is the president of the Cattle Council of Australia and has been re-appointed as a board member and newly appointed as chair.
- Allison Mudford of Cassilis, who runs a mixed farming enterprise and has skills in state-wide policy. Alison was appointed in 2019 and continues her term.
- Robyn Parker of Terrigal is a former NSW parliamentarian who was appointed in 2019 and continues her term.
- Art Brown, a cattle stud owner of Crawford River with a background in financial markets and services who has been re-elected.
- Deborah Willis who runs a mixed farming and timber operation at Lansdowne and has been re-elected.
The board includes three people who were successful in board elections and four members including the new chair, Tony Hegarty, who have been appointed by the Minister for Agriculture and Western New South Wales, Adam Marshall.
"I welcome the Hunter board with its mix of new and familiar faces," said Richard Bull, Local Land Services state-wide chair.
"Their combined skills and experience will ensure they can provide strong strategic direction to Hunter Local Land Services over the coming years."

Once board members have completed an induction process, they will begin their important work of helping connect Hunter Local Land Services to the landholders and communities it serves.
Local Land Services CEO, David Witherdin, said the agency looked forward to working with all 11 regional boards around the State.
"We will seek their support as we continue adapting our business so we can best assist land managers amidst COVID 19 restrictions," Mr Witherdin said.
