Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead, said the NSW Government had further extended its support to the communities recovering from bushfires with a range of courses following an overwhelming response to the initial suite of courses on the South Coast.
"These courses will equip communities with the skills they need to rebuild and repair critical infrastructure such as homes and businesses while creating new employment opportunities to help them get back on their feet as quickly as possible," Mr Bromhead said.
"I understand that more than 500 people enrolled in the fee-free courses in the South Coast announced in March.
"The NSW Nationals in Government are not only committed to supporting industries and communities in need of more skilled workers to rebuild communities, but also here to support displaced workers or businesses severely impacted by the bushfires by funding various training courses."
