The $20,000 grant along with $40,000 from club coffers will enable the club to bring the courts up to Tennis Australia standards.
Announcing the government's contribution, local member, Stephen Bromhead described the grant as fantastic news, not only Twin Towns Tennis Club, but for all those who utilise the tennis courts as a social outing and an exercise outlet.
This grassroots funding will directly help create a more vibrant and inclusive tennis club, with the two existing synthetic grass surfaces on two courts being replaced, Mr Bromhead said.

With the additional contribution of $40,000 from club funds, the courts will now meet the standard required by Tennis Australia, Twin Towns Tennis Club head coach, Darren Nash said.
"I congratulate Twin Towns Tennis Club and all the organisations that were successful in their applications and look forward to seeing how this project will make a real difference," Mr Bromhead said.
Now a decade old, the community building partnership program has funded more than 13,800 community projects since it began in 2009.
Applications for the 2020 Program open in May.
