However, the community support group was forced to cancel the popular monthly sale when its Forster storage facility was sold back in 2018.
"We did hold a couple of garage sales in the driveway of our previous president Chris Smith's house, but this wasn't a viable long-term proposition," spokesperson, Lyn Nadjarian said.
Fast forward 16 months and the fundraising garage sales are back in the diary after the not-for-profil group found new premises.
Conveniently located opposite John Wright Park the group plans to take advantage of the Tuncurry monthly markets and hold its garage sale on the same day.

The first garage sale will be held on Saturday, March 28 from 7.30am-3pm.
"We envisage having a sale every month this year," Lynnsaid.
The Manning Street premises will also house documents and act as an information source for the public, giving the charity a visible presence to the community.
Demand for palliative care is increasing, Lynn said.
Professions and volunteers are needed in our community to support patients and their carers through the Great Lakes area, she said.

Services include providing additional nursing and personal care assistance, domestic help and loan of specialised equipment for in-home use, financial assistance for medication and respite, access to social worker and chaplaincy, specialised wig service for oncology patients and provision of education and scholarships to increase palliative care awareness.
"Our auxiliary members continue to work hard to raise funds to promote these services and we are so grateful for the continued support from our generous community."
