A woman was airlifted to Newcastle yesterday afternoon following an accident on a property in Booral.

Just after noon on Thursday, February 27 the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to property the after reports that a woman had been kicked by horse on a rural property.
According to a Westpac Rescue Helicopter spokesperson, the 54-year-old woman had sustained serious chest and pelvic injuries.
She was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics prior to the arrival of the helicopter's Critical Care Medical Team.
After being stabilised she was transported to the John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle in a serious but stable condition.
