The Andrew Johns Cup (under-16) representative clash between North Coast and Greater Northern Tigers will now kick off at 12:45. This was originally to start at 1pm.
North Coast and Greater Northern will also meet in the Laurie Daley Cup (under-18) match. This game will now be underway from 2:15pm, 15 minutes earlier than originally advised.
However, the Canterbury/Canberra match will start at the advertised time of 4:30.
Group Three chairman Wayne Bridge remains confident a crowd of between 5000 and 6000 will attend the game. The group needs a crowd of 3000 to cover the $70,000 it had to outlay to stage the game.
"We should get a good walk-up crowd," he said.
Players and officials from both clubs were at a function held at Port Panthers on Thursday night. More than 250 people, mainly from senior and junior clubs in the Group Three area, were in attendance.
Speakers included coaches Ricky Stuart and Dean Pay, along with players Jarrod Croker, Josh Jackson, Josh Hodgson and Aiden Tolman.
