Swimmers from Forster Aquatic Swim Club more than held their own at the Swimming North Coast Long Course Championships at Port Macquarie on February 8 and 9.

The club placed third overall at the championships behind Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie, with a number of Forster Aquatic swimmers posting excellent individual results.
Future Olympic hopeful Nash Wilkes led the way for his younger club mates, posting seven wins, two seconds and a third in the men's 17 and over division.
He was named the open boys point score champion and placed second in the men's 17 years and over age championship.

Harrison Tancred was named 11-year boys champion, posting nine wins and a second over the course of the championships.
Eva Keen took five wins, three seconds and a third at the meet and was named joint 11-year girls champion.
Tanna Davey posted a win and a third place finish and was named second in the 13 years and under girls distance championship.
Braydan Lee finished third in the 14-year boys age championship, collecting a handful of second and third place finishes in his individual events.
Fellow Forster swimmers Hannah Carmichael, Emily Rowell and Sophie Scislo also found themselves on the podium, with both Hannah and Emily posting individual wins.
Forster also finished third in the Rex Clarke Memorial mixed medley relay.
