For those who are yet to lodge. keep them coming as the more council management is informed of our needs, the more likely we will have in achieving our goal.
One disturbing factor has been bought to our notice, is that sections of the community take the opportunity to berate council workers for council inaction and we would urge those people to desist and rethink.
These workers are on the front line, do the hard yards of physical activity and are the face of council in their day to day activities.
They are the easiest to target as they are unable to respond.
They live in this community and privately may have the same thoughts as we do, however under the terms of employment are unable to express them.
We have found them all to be good people who care about their jobs and this community.
Projects such as our boat ramps are bound by need and budgetary restrictions, those decisions are not made by the front line, they are made by management.
It is management who need to know your concerns.
So, direct your concerns to council management.
Let them know that our boat ramps are reaching the end of service and that this community needs to provide modern, safe and user friendly facilities to the boating fraternity.
