Club members Kerry Matheson and Alan Wilson presented the CWA's Sandra Thurgood and Jan Peasnell with a cheque for $4630 to go towards the Disaster Relief Fund on December 23.
The fund provides assistance to help meet household expenses for drought-affected families.
Mudcrabs secretary Bob Harkins put the call out to members of the club at the start of December and received an overwhelming response.
"With Christmas coming it's going to be tough, not only for the individual but more broadly for their communities," he said.
"What better way to celebrate than by helping out someone in need."
