Held in Taree over the past two years, Tuncurry was chosen as the new venue for the tournament before Christmas after the fields at the Taree Recreation Centre were deemed unsuitable because of the drought.
Games will be played at both the Peter Barclay Sports Fields and Harry Elliott Oval, where recycled water has been used to keep the fields in good condition.
Forster Tuncurry Touch Association president, Lyn Eason, said it was exciting to have the opportunity to host the event.
"It's good for the kids to have something locally," she said.
"It's good for the town as well."
She believed the tournament would bring around 1300 people to Forster Tuncurry, with teams travelling from numerous locations up and down the North Coast to contest the event.

Forster Tuncurry will have teams taking part in every division except the U10 and U18 girls.
Ms Eason believed the local kids would prove competitive.
"There is some good players here," she said.
"We've got a good chance in some of those divisions.
"I think we should get quite a few into the Eagles' squads."
