According to a National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) spokesperson, public safety is a priority and the closure will be reviewed weekly.
However, it is likely to remain in place until there is widespread rain, the spokesperson said.
The extremely dry conditions mean any fires which start can escalate and spread very quickly, putting visitors at risk.
Camping and day use areas, boat ramps, car parks, roads, trails, walking tracks, beaches, river and lake shorelines in Myall lakes National Park are closed.
Bennett's Beach access from Hawks Nest remains open.
Waterways remain open, however all land within the park is closed and landing by vessel is not permitted.
Broughton Island, Seal Rocks Holiday Cottages and Myall Shores Holiday Park remain open.
A full list of the closures is available at National Parks and Wildlife Service: Alerts for NSW National Parks including updates to Myall Lakes NP closure.
