Australian Motor Sport Action Group (AMSAG) Southern Cross Rally Series organisers have donated funds to four organisations which have assisted with the Mid North Coast bushfire crisis.

Johns River Rural Fire Brigade, Koalas in Care, BlazeAid and Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery each received a $500 donation.
The sporting body said on a Facebook post the donations would support bushfire affected areas the rally series visited this year.
"As a show of support to these communities who open their towns for us to come and compete in events in their districts, AMSAG have decided to donate a portion of the profits made from our Rosewood, Orange, Bulahdelah and Johns River events this year to some worthy causes," the group wrote.
AMSAG is also working with the Johns River Brigade to install a portable fridge inside a fire truck.
Meanwhile, in a bid to entice new drivers to motorsport, Rally NSW will expand the NSW Hyundai Rally Series in 2020.
This will have a positive impact on the rally at Bulahdelah on August 22 next year, with Hyundai production cars now eligible to compete.
To date, the rally series has been limited to Excel Rally cars but the league understands more Excel owners are modifying their vehicles with such things as an upgraded engine and transmission packages, larger brakes and wheels.
Rally NSW said it wants to see as many competitors as possible on track so the second category will allow newer and modified cars that comply with production car rules to do so.
The Bulahdelah Rally will be a new addition to the MTA NSW Rally Championship. The final round of the championship is yet to be confirmed but if it goes ahead it will be on the NSW North Coast.
The tentative date in November 28, 2020.
Selected Rallysprints are also on the agenda for the 2020 rally season.
