A number of students from Bulahdelah Central School (BCS) picked up awards in various categories at the Bulahdelah Show student evening.

BCS deputy principle Debbie Booth adjudicated the public speaking competition alongside a number of other teachers from the region, and said the standard of speaking was awe-inspiring.
"Every student that spoke is to be congratulated on their confident efforts," Ms Booth said.
"You could have heard a pin drop, so engrossed were the audience."
BCS stage two student Grace McRae and BCS stage three student Aiden Miles both excelled, with each of them finishing second in their respective divisions.
BCS student Henry O'Connell was awarded first place in the stage two category of the creative writing competition for his story 'The Hole', while Bailee Gleeson was awarded a highly commended prize in the stage three category for her story 'Midnight Cat'.
Blake Matheson also received a highly commended prize in the stage three category for his bush poetry.
In the line drawing competition, Ryder Wheaton won the stage one category, Cooper Sams finished second in the stage two category, and Flynn Guthrie, Katelyn Shepherd, Jaxon Styles and Abbie Cassar all received highly commended awards.
Brodie Guthrie won the stage one category in the painting competition, Nikita Wheaton finished second in the stage two category, and Jye Bailey and Bao Tran both received highly commended awards.
Finally, in the collage competition, Levi Cassar and Ezra Hammerl won the stage one and stage three categories respectively, while Mathew Haley, Mia Hope and Delilah Newlin received highly commended awards.
