Originally from Western Australia but now living on the NSW North Coast, Ryan Hardy is one of the most well-known figures in bodyboarding and Forster Bodyboarding Club president Shane Chalker believes he'll be a big draw to the clinic.
"Anyone with a remote interest in bodyboarding will know the name Ryan Hardy," Mr Chalker said.
"He is known as one of the best bodyboarders the world has ever seen.
"He's loved by the public and respected by his peers."
Mr Chalker said the clinic had already attracted the attention of bodyboarders from Newcastle to Port Macquarie.
Open to all ages and catering for beginners through to advanced levels, he believed everyone would be able to take something away from the event.
"It's a very accessible sport," he said.
"Once you've got your gear you're ready to get into it."
