The workshops are a chance for council to provide information and progress updates on town-specific priorities that were discussed at the community conversations earlier this year, MidCoast Council general manager, Adrian Panuccio said.

The first round of forums gave participants the opportunity to identify the things that matter in their communities through a facilitated process, he said.

Now, as promised, the conversations are being picked back up to check in on each place's priorities for the coming year.

These workshops are also a great opportunity for community members to ask the leadership team any questions they might have about what council is up to in their area, Mr Panuccio said.

Pacific Palms kicked off the conversations this round and it's Forster-Tuncurry's turn tomorrow, Tuesday, October 22 at the council chambers from 6-8pm.

The team will then head to Bulahdelah on October 24 at the School of Arts Hall.

To ensure key issues for each community can be addressed, locals can register a question or specific area of interest before the forum in their area if they wish.

This is a great way for those who can't attend to be involved, or for people to ask questions without having to stand up in front of a crowd.

Questions are also very welcome on the night.

Each session will run no longer than two hours, and no RSVP is required.

"It's great to be heading back out around the region and I look forward to the next five weeks of chatting with everyone," Mr Panuccio said.
