The veteran driver recently added more silverware to his already impressive collection, following the latest rounds of the CAMS NSW Hillclimb Championship.
Last month, Ron tackled the Dapto course. His best time of 31.72 seconds secured the win and championship points.
"It was a great day as the first half of the very steep track was resealed and my times were excellent," he said.
At Ringwood in August, Ron took on a different track to previous years.
"It was still within the old track design," he added.
With his best time of 85.58 seconds, Ron set a new track record for his class.
Earlier in the season, Ron secured back-to-back wins at Bathurst's Mount Panorama. The opening two rounds of the series were held on consecutive days at The Esses and Mountain Straight.
At the Kempsey round, Ron broke his own record set in 2018 by two and a half seconds.With a time of 41.3550 seconds, Ron also claimed victory at Tamworth.
Although he's officially entered the National championships, to be held in Bathurst next month, the 80-year-old remains undecided if he will contest the event.
