I Spy Koala allows members of the public to record helpful information when they spot koalas in their natural habitats, such as their location, what condition they're in, photos and other applicable details.
The data from the app will be available for access through the interactive NSW Government Sharing and Enabling Environmental Data (SEED) portal.
The portal was developed as a central place for the public to find data about the environment.
