Yes, according to Bulahdelah Central School's primary school debating team.
Bulahdelah Central School's team of Ellie Bonfield, Lillian Jenkins, Bonnie Minns, Chilali Baggins-Cuppitt and Deanna Jenner travelled to Tea Gardens Public School to compete in this hot debate.
Bulahdelah was the negative team, but came up with some strong arguments to take out the win.
Their main points were:
- People need access to water on the go - mobile society.
- Only 11 per cent of the world has access to tap water.
- Water borne diseases kill millions of people each year worldwide.
The Bulahdelah team comprised Bonnie Minns, Deanna Jenner, Ellie Bonfield, Lillian Jenkins and Chilali Baggins-Cuppitt.
The team thanked Sally-Anne Davis for transporting them to Tea Gardens.
