The Hawks' girls will be hoping to repeat their form from a fortnight ago that saw them hand the Breakers their first loss in two years.
At 50, Lyn is not only the league's most senior player, but also one of its most experienced, having become just the third woman to reach the milestone of 150 games since its inception in 2009.
She said the Hawks had gained confidence after upsetting the competition favourites and would carry that self-belief into the decider.
"That was awesome," she said.
"It puts us in a good frame knowing we can beat them."
Having come back to the Hawks in 2019 after a year coaching and playing at Old Bar, she believed the side had benefitted from the number of young players coming through and were also gelling really well as a team.
But she was under no illusion about the task they faced.
"It's still going to be a tough game," she said.
"We've got to make sure we keep the ball as much as we can."
She believed working together as a team was vital to their success.
A veteran of six grand finals - including two wins for the Hawks - Lyn was undecided whether she'd continue on beyond the 2019 season.
But if she does decide to hang up the boots, it will be nice to do it on the back of a victory alongside her daughters.
"We're all ready to go," she said.
"We'll see what happens on Sunday."
