According to the owner, a neighbour heard some noises and alerted them to the fact the boat had been removed from the mooring.
They then notified the police but the boat was yet to be recovered.
A white trimaran with a black mast, the owner described the boat as not overly common and believed it could not have been towed away by car as the offenders would've needed a custom trailer.
The boat was permanently moored at the location.
News of its theft has been shared on local social media pages and the owner is urging anyone who has any information regarding the boat's location to contact police.
