Playing their last home game of the season, the first grade team rewarded their dedicated fans with a strong 2-0 win over the Taree Wildcats in blustery conditions.
Striker Sam Gallen scored both goals for the Tigers, while Ben Chapman put in a man of the match performance at defender, consistently shutting down the Wildcats' key attacking players.
Coach Scott Fletcher said it was one of his team's best showings all year.
"It was one of our better team performances throughout the whole game," he said.
"This week we were able to finish our chances and defend better."
With gale force winds making things extremely challenging for both teams, Fletcher said he was proud of the way his players handled themselves.
"We played to the conditions better," he said.

The Tigers' reserve grade team was also able to find the edge in the tough conditions, taking a 1-0 win over the Wildcats with a goal to Liam Simpson.
Again Fletcher believed it was a good overall showing from his players that secured them the victory.
"It was a very good team performance," he said.
Joel Elliott was awarded man of the match.
With a finals' berth beyond their reach, Fletcher said his players will head to Port Macquarie next weekend for their last game of the season with one goal - to knock off a top five team in the Port Saints.
"We haven't beat a top five team this season so we're really hoping for a win up there," he said.
Tuncurry Forster are currently ranked seventh on the premier league ladder.
