The students were able to brainstorm ideas with other schools about issues for youth in the area.
Mr Bromhead spoke to the captains about his own personal and professional experiences with regards to leadership.
During the next few weeks, Bulahdelah Central School students in years 8, 9, 10 and 11 will be completing the online process for selecting subjects for the 2020 school year.
Year 10 and 11 students had the opportunity to participate in taster lessons on Monday, July 29.
All students and their parents were invited to a subject information evening on Tuesday, July 30, in the school library.
Staff were on hand to answer any questions and queries parents and students had about their future subjects.
