President of the Bulahdelah Historical Society, Kevin spoke about the history of Bulahdelah and Alum Mountain, which was once an important source of the mineral alunite, used as a fertiliser and also used in the textile industry.
The mining, which took place between 1878 and 1950, has left its legacy in the form of the mountain's profile.
Kevin spoke about the stories and characters associated with the history of the mountain. He has a background in forestry and the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
The chapter elected a new committee at annual general meeting.
