Held at Blueys Beach, event organiser Shane Chalker said they were blessed with epic conditions on both mornings, with four-foot lefts reeling through the northern corner.
Newcastle's Johnny Cruickshank broke through for a long-awaited maiden win in the open men's and then backed it up by taking out the masters.
Cruickshank had been making the pilgrimage up to the contest since 1996 and had previously finished runner-up in the open men's seven times.
The Sunshine Coast's Tobey Ring also scored a double, winning both the cadets and the juniors.
Former world champion Lilly Pollard won the open women's and also put on a free coaching clinic, while Gary Thatcher won the drop-knee division.
Forster bodyboarders Daniel Kirkman and Thomas Donnelly also performed well, with Kirkman finishing second in the masters and Donnelly finishing third in the drop-knee.
All up 86 bodyboarders took part in the long-running event, with the camaraderie among competitors once again a highlight.
"It was a great vibe," Mr Chalker said.
"The bodyboarding community is pretty close-knit."
Three generations of the Wilcox family were on hand to present trophies to the winners, and Mr Chalker said the event received fantastic support from local businesses.
He also confirmed the contest was set to continue into the future.
"There was such a positive response to this year's contest it'd be criminal not run it next year," he said.
