The two girls were selected for the U14s Northern NSW team that went on to place fourth in the tournament overall.
Finishing second in their qualifying division, the team eventually went down to NSW Metro on the final day, suffering a 4-0 loss.
Regardless of the defeat, Northern NSW Football's technical advisor Leo Bertos was impressed with the team's performance, especially considering the lack of preparation they had.
"To be so competitive in this type of tournament is encouraging for our region, considering our players came together two days before this tournament to prepare," he said.
With many of the other teams in the competition enjoying the benefits of full-time training programs, Mr Bertos believed the Northern NSW girls could only get better.
"There is still a lot of work to do in the player's development of the girls in our region, it is really noticeable the technical level and fitness level of the girls in a full-time program compared to the girls that aren't," he said.
Leteesha's mum Kim said it was a fantastic effort from all the girls, with Northern NSW only competing in the tournament for the first time this year.
From Coffs Harbour, Leteesha and Ginger headed to Thornton to play in the Women's Premier League Mid North Coast side against the Thornton Redbacks.
