Formerly known as Crazy Day, WOW promises a host of great bargains from all the participating stores, accompanied by live music, buskers and a show from local entertainer, Brenden Tremmlow.
For the youngsters, popular children's book character Grug will make an appearance, while story time will take them to a land of fantasy.
Foodies can enter the eating competitions, taste a sundae created by Elmo, while the day also will feature sidewalk sales, street art and lots more.
Keep your eye out for a flash dance.
Shoppers also have a chance to win one of three shopping vouchers (1 x $500 and 2 x $200) to spend in participating Wharf Street retail outlets.
Co-organiser and Manning Shoes retailer, John Mansour was keeping his fingers crossed for a fine, sunny day.
"I think we will be busier than normal," Mr Mansour said.
On-line shopping has had a major influence on retail habits, with foot traffic to local outlets gradually slowing over the past handful of years.
However, Mr Mansour said if an item wasn't on show he invited shoppers to ask if the product could be brought in-store.
"And we will endeavour to get it in; at lease give us a chance."
Mr Mansour said Saturday's event would give shoppers an experience, as well as the chance to pick-up some great bargains.
He said more than 80 retailers from Wharf, Head and Wallis streets would participate in the day-long shopping event.
"I will be happy to see people walking up and down the street."
Retailers collectively invited everyone to join them on Wharf Street, where they promised the excitement would be this Saturday, July 13 from 8am-3pm.
