Forty-six volunteers fronted on Monday, June 24 following a weekend of hatching plans and ideas.
Fourteen projects have been identified for the make-over.
More than 105 volunteers have registered for the seven days, with 53 attending Saturday's session and 67 on Sunday, volunteer co-ordinator, Jodi Stojanov from Brisbane said.
The weekend was about doing a walkabout and putting ideas together, Jodi said.
Jodi explained the concept behind the 7-day Makeover was to create 'linger nodes' encouraging members of the public to stop and explore Tuncurry.
The make-over continues until Saturday.
