However, last Thursday's image of a large great white casually swimming along Nine Mile Beach, Tuncurry was his first of a shark.
Adam said the animal, which he estimated measured between 2-3 metres, was preying on the remaining mullet, which continued to come out of the estuary.
"It is extremely late in the season and unusual for mullet to still be running,"
Adam said there was a tonne of shark activity around the entrance to the Forster Tuncurry harbour.
He sighted seven large sharks a few metres off the breakwall on Friday morning, June 21.
"I am extremely ecstatic and excited and could not believe my eyes when I was scanning the water from the air and stumbled across such a large silhouette.
"It was my first great white footage.
"My first thought was how exciting it will be to put a production together and share it with the wider community."
