The camp was supervised by fully-trained leaders and gave students the opportunity to be part of a team where they could earn points for completing activities, demonstrating good manners, helping others and having fun, as well as keeping their rooms tidy.
Life tool sessions provided the kids with important lessons on how to deal with issues in life, such as self-esteem, bullying and anger, to name a few.
There were also a range of fun activities including the adventure tower, giant swing, archery, canoeing, raft-making, team-building challenges and much more.
The students spent time enjoying these activities as well as learning how to communicate with others and making new friends.
"The camp was really good," one of the students, Angelina, commented.
"I made so many friends. The leaders, Bethany and Matrix, were awesome.
"The giant swing was the best and I loved the talent show on the last night.
"I would recommend this camp to anyone."
Members of the Forster Tuncurry Lions Club took much pride in sponsoring the selected students and enjoyed hearing the feedback about their experiences.
