A light dusting of on May 10 attracted numerous snow chasers who made the trip to Polblue for some winter camping in order to catch the early morning snow before it melted away.
Tomorrow (Tuesday, June 4) may attract a few more with a high chance of snow falling about the Barrington Tops according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
Temperatures are expected to reflect the chill of winter with a day-time high of two degrees and a night-time low of minus one one predicted.
Snow is predicted to continue falling in locations above 1300 metres on Wednesday, June 5 with a top temperature of four degrees and a low of zero.
According to the Barrington Tops snow chasers Facebook page, "most of the moisture is expected to fall on Tuesday which means there could be some good snowfall for Barrington Tops if the temperature remains cold enough."
Away from the mountains, showers and rain are predicted until Friday and day-time temperatures along the coast from 17 up to 20 degrees on Friday, and a chilly 13 degrees tomorrow up to 19 degrees further inland.
