The team carried with them a little more confidence following last week's win at Old Bar without their senior team-mates.
With the return of many seasoned players White found himself in a good position having numbers like he had never seen since the start of the 2019 season.
It was a great opportunity for White having young strong and enthusiastic players, especially in the bush where normally it's a challenge just to hold onto a team and an opportunity to justify each player's strengths in preparation to the season ahead.
Wauchope Thunder posted the first five points on the board with some classy play that just opened up Wallamba's backline allowing the attack an easy path across the line out wide and having the sideline erupting with excitement as they sniffed the possibility of something exciting.
It took some time for the defending premiers to find their way as White worked his squad gaining insight on each players' ability.
Captain Andrew Paynter steered his young and inexperienced forwards around like bullocks in training who showed plenty of strength and bite in attack with Rhys Hessing showing no mercy in defence followed up by young Dagger with some great attacking drives into Thunder's defence.
This was not without great counter attacks by Thunder's enthusiastic pack and energetic backline.
Bulls winger, Ben Thomas continued where he left of from last week with plenty of covering tackles, while the centres troubled Wauchope with every run.
Wauchope have shown they have a sharp looking backline who kept the Bulls honest throughout the 80 minutes in a very free flowing game.
At the final whistle it was the young Wallamba Bulls coming home 32-22 in a very entertaining game of country rugby.
With plenty of work to come time is certainly on the side of White and his young charges with a few weeks off due to a bye and country championships.
Wallamba are certainly keen to have full strength hit out against 2019 undefeated Ratz when they meet out at Nabiac.
Wallamba's women were again given a fine lesson by the undefeated Wauchope Thunder ladies thumping the visitors 62-10.
The 10 a-side game that was the difference and Wallamba can only build on this if the want to be a chance come the finals.
Wauchope have to be applauded for their Rugby hospitality that was enjoyed by all.
This Saturday Wallamba's Women's 10s head across the mountains to play Gloucester while the men take on a bye.
