To help sort through the more than 40 government rebates and savings, a fortnightly Cost of Living appointment service has become available at the Tuncurry based, Service NSW Centre.
"We know that cost of living is a big issue facing local households, which is why we delivered this free, advisory service," Minister for Customer Service, Victor Dominello said.
"It's open to everyone and most people who have given it a go have not been disappointed."
The service enables people to meet a cost of living specialist who can help claim savings they may be eligible for.

Examples of savings include CTP refunds, National Parks Concession Pass, energy rebates, and $100 Active Kids and Creative Kids vouchers.
Since July 2018, more than 18,300 NSW residents have accessed more than $9 million in claimed and anticipated savings through the Cost of Living appointment service.
"We've transformed Service NSW into a one-stop shop for household savings, providing families with much needed hip pocket relief.
"Booking an appointment is simple and easy, and you could walk away with extra money."
A cost of living specialist from the Taree Service NSW Centre will be coming to the Tuncurry Service NSW Centre,12-25 Manning Street, fortnightly for a few hours to meet customers.
The next few planned visits are scheduled for Friday, June 14 and Friday, June 28.
The Tuncurry fortnightly Cost of Living appointments will help expand the Cost of Living appointment service into remote areas.
