The program for the choir's concert features a contrast of styles with music from the Great American Songbook with Baby it's Cold Outside and Blues in the Night, and classic texts from Shakespeare and Rudyard Kipling set to music, to more modern contemporary choral music like Seal Lullaby, African American spirituals and gospel music, music from the Broadway hit A Chorus Line, a 60's arrangement of a Bach classic, and more.
"It's something that might appeal to a broad cross section of the community," Kantabile co-musical director, Lyanne Macfarlane says.
The concert is the first with Kantabile under the musical direction of Lyanne and co-musical director Elizabeth Berry.
"That's scary. It's scary for us, as well as for the choir," Lyanne said.
It's something that might appeal to a broad cross section of the community.

"They've got to learn to trust us, and that's a really hard thing.
"That's hard for us to expect from people.
"We have to earn that trust.
"We're hoping that after this we've got some credibility."
Tickets will be available at the door and are $15 per person, which children 16 and under free.
The cost of the ticket also includes a complementary glass of wine and light supper in the church hall after the concert.
