Forster Croquet Club held the annual three-day Cedar Bat Competition earlier this month.
The round robin tournament, designed for handicaps 7-10, attracted 16 contestants, who played in two blocks of eight.
The winner and runner-up in each block then played each other to determine the eventual winner.
Tom Adams was the eventual winner winning all three of his games in the final while the runner-up was Helen Cooper who won one of her three games and was placed second on a countback with the other two finalists.
Organisers described the event as an even competition with the winners and runner-up in each block winning six of their seven games
