The exciting event is supported by the MidCoast Council Vibrant Spaces initiative, and is a whole-of-community event, with volunteers welcomed.
The team is in the planning stage now, with the seven-day makeover schedueld to take place from Saturday June 22 until Saturday, June 29.
Members of the community who would like to learn more about or project, or who would like to get involved and give assistance are welcome to attend an information evening on Tuesday, May 28 from 6.30- 8pm at the Bellevue Hotel.
For more information and to register to attend the information night, visit the 7 day makeover website here.
The seven-day makeover concept is the brainchild of 'master placemaker' and Creative Communities International founder, David Engwicht.
Mr Engwicht has been helping towns around the world transform tired, used and under-appreciated public spaces into vibrant community hubs.
We're supporting the Tuncurry businesses who've got behind the project, and we're encouraging any interested community members to also get involved.

And now it's Tuncurry's turn.
During the information night, Mr Engwicht will explain what's involved and how the seven-day makeover works and share how to create great public spaces on a shoestring budget with instant results.
Recapping the project:
"We're excited to see this community initiative unfold," MidCoast Council growth, economic development and tourism manager, Deb Tuckerman said.
"We're supporting the Tuncurry businesses who've got behind the project, and we're encouraging any interested community members to also get involved," she said.
"Bring your ideas, expertise and offers of support along to the information night and register to volunteer during the seven-day makeover event to make the plans a reality and transform Tuncurry's business area."
