This Saturday, April 20 specialist judges will get out their measuring tapes and clean off their scales to find who has grown the biggest and best pumpkin at the Cooma Easter Fair.
For the past four months growers have been pumping up the fertiliser and pampering their pumpkins in their bid to win the coveted prize being offered by the Coomba and District Progress Association (CDPA).
Entries also will be judged on the best decorated and best carved pumpkins.
If you have a smashing big pumpkin, entries will be accepted up to 9.30am on the day of the fair.
But the fair isn't all about pumpkins.
There will games for the children starting at an Easter egg hunt and egg painting.
There is a competition for the best dressed dog, cake decorating and baking competition and loads of stalls selling all sorts of interesting things along with a tug-o-war competition and live music.
The fair starts at 10am and extends through until 2pm.
All funds raised will be going to repair the swimming pool.
