The event will include two swims; the Mini Rock from 11am will be followed by the Rock to Rock at noon.
"The Mini Rock at 11am is 600 metres long and would be ideal for the younger or not so confident swimmer, or as a warm up for the serious ocean swimmers competing in the 1.5km swim," Pacific Palms Surf Club president Dan Morgan said.
"At midday the first wave of 1.5 kilometre swimmers will hit the water for the Rock to Rock Swim, with the second wave heading off shortly after.
"Pacific Palms Surf Club lifesavers will be on hand to keep an eye on all swimmers during both races."
Long term sponsor Pacific Palms Real Estate has come on board yet again to put up the prizes for the event.
For the 1.5km swim there will be cash prizes for the overall first three male and female placegetters and medals for the first three males and females in all age categories.
There also will be medals for the first three males and females over the line in the 600m swim.
The Timing Guys will be here again to fit electronic timing bands to all competitors' ankles so that results will be available soon after the race.
Entry is open to all competent swimmers from 10-years upwards and will set you back $20 for the 600m swim, $35 for the 1.5km swim or $50 for both swims if you enter by 5pm on Easter Saturday - this includes race entry and a free swim cap.
For those who would rather check out the surf on the day first, late entries on Easter Sunday will be taken up until 10am for the 600m swim and 11am for the 1.5km swim and will cost an additional $10 for all categories.
Entries can be made on the Ocean Swimmers website.
Entries will also be taken on Easter Saturday at the Blueys Shops, Boomerang Drive, Blueys Beach, from 8.30am-1pm, and then at the Pacific Palms SLSC clubhouse, Lakeside Crescent, Elizabeth Beach, from 1.30-5pm.
Last chance for late entries is on the morning of the race from 8.30am-10am (or 11am for the 1.5km swim).
Full details are on the club's website.
For those travelling to compete, sponsor, Pacific Palms Real Estate, has accommodation available.
What better way to work up an appetite for those Easter eggs and Hot Cross Buns?
"Competitors who have pre-entered still need to pick up their cap and timing band prior to the first compulsory race safety briefing at 10.40 am in the clubhouse," Dan said.
"Come early and beat the rush - don't be late as the first gun will go off at 11am sharp."
