Coach Phil Adamson said Moylan's selection as six for the opening round clash against Wingham was 'experimental.'
Moylan produced a mixed performance, however, two plays late in the game that resulted in tries to centre Ben Murray won the game for the Hawks. He'll be the pivot again on Sunday.
"Keda will be staying there this week,'' Adamson said while not giving any assurances this is in his long term plans.
Adamson will also check the fitness of promising halfback Kye Burke, who was hobbling on a corked leg.
"He couldn't train earlier in the week, so will see how he's going,'' Adamson explained.
However, is Burke is given the green light, the Hawks will be unchanged from the opening round.
Adamson said the Hawks are on a high after the come-from-behind 16-12 win over the Tigers, although he added the ball security will have to improve this week.
"Especially against the Breakers, they're usually pretty clinical around the play-the-ball,'' he said.
"But we're basically a new side this year - there's not too many settled combinations and we haven't done that much ball work at training. That's something we can work on through the season.''
Adamson said it was important for the club to get off to a winning start after enduring a couple of lean seasons. He added that winning is infectious
"We had a good roll-up at training on Tuesday night and just about everyone trained,'' he said.
"So everything is positive at the moment.''
He warned Port City will present another challenge, especially on their home track. Adamson said the Breakers will be smarting after losing the opening round clash to arch rivals Port Macquarie.
"They've been the benchmark for the past couple of years,'' he said.
The young Breakers forward will run out onto Port Macquarie's Regional Stadium on Sunday as the Port City Breakers aim to get their 2019 Group 3 campaign off and running.
Gibson originally started playing rugby league as a junior down in the Camden Haven before making the transition into the Breakers setup as a teenager.
