More than 300 Rotarians and their partners will travel Forster this weekend for the annual District 9670 Conference, from Friday, March 15 to Sunday, March 17.

District 9670 comprises of clubs from the Myall Coast Rotary Club at Tea Gardens west to Bourke and Cobar.
Attendees will be arriving from as far away as Cobar and Warren right through to Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.
"The theme for the conference is Positive People = Positive Actions so our sessions are all about fantastic Rotary people and related projects," Rotarian Glenda Briggs said.
"The speakers come from all over Australia and are truly inspiring," she said.
A welcome barbecue for 89 people will be held at the Big 4 Caravan Park in Tuncurry, tonight, Thursday, March 14.
Rotarians have Friday free to discover the attractions of the Great Lakes.
The conference itself kicks off at Club Forster from 9am on Saturday, March 16 with an opening ceremony and welcome to country by local Pastor Russell Saunders and will run through to Sunday lunchtime.
“Forster was picked for the conference because of its great location, available accommodation and conference facilities," district governor Brian Coffey said.
