More than 20 groups across the MidCoast Council area have already registered and you can visit the Clean Up Australia Day website to join one of the established groups or create your own.
Schools and businesses have their own clean up days, with schools on March 1 and businesses on February 26.
The theme this year is Change starts with you.
We are all part of the litter problem and we should all consider doing our bit to help out.

“Australia has one of the best natural landscapes in the world, but the rubbish we create is choking our streets, beaches, parks, bushland and waterways,” MidCoast Council waste program co-ordinator, Amy Hill said.
“We are all part of the litter problem and we should all consider doing our bit to help out.”
“All of us can and should do our bit to make a difference,” MidCoast Council community spaces and services director, Paul De Szell said.
This is the 29th year of Clean Up Australia Day.
