Michael South has put the NSW Rallysprint Series on notice after dominating the field at Nabiac on Sunday.
The Central Coast native won the S2 event, 93 seconds ahead of Daniel Maurer. This was South’s second consecutive outright win at the track.
Nathan Quinn rounded out the podium but won the class three trophy. South also picked up the win in class four, with Darren Mather class one champion and Jonah Summersell class two champion.
Host club Central North Coast Sporting Car Club took part in their own Rallysprint.
It was a battle of the juniors for the outright win, with 16-year-old Riley Walters from the Central Coast showing blistering pace in his Subaru to take the win with a cumulative time of 14:47 seconds.
Taylor Gill wasn’t too far behind to claim second.
The State series continues at the Hastings Rallysprint next month while the club will hold the first Khanacross of the season in two weeks.
