There are still large limbs in our parks and reserves on the ground and hanging in the tree ready to kill someone when they fall.
Bad areas include: Pipers Bay Drive; King George Parade; Elizabeth Reserve; Tahiti Avenue/Lakes Way; Tea Tree Road; Smiths Lake; near Kenrose Street; Lakes way between the Lakes Estate and Seven Mile.
I have seen an out of town tree loping service that is from Erina on the central coast cleaning up parts of Tuncurry, what happened to ‘be vocal shop local’ which is a council slogan.
The council said that the storm damage would start to be cleaned up from January 2.
I have spoken with council and they assure me that it’s getting done.
