Along the coast today’s temperature is expected to range from 20 to 28 degrees with an 80 per cent chance of rain.
Saturday’s temperature will range from 21-27 degrees with a sunny icon and a chance of a thunderstorm, while on Sunday is predicted to be a wet and windy day with temperatures ranging from 21-26 degrees.
Further inland, today’s temperatures will range from 19-31 degrees with a 90 per cent chance of a thunderstorm.
Thunderstorms are predicted on both Saturday and Sunday with lows of 18-19 degrees and high of 31-32 degrees.
Despite this week’s overcast skies, just 7.6mm has been recorded in the official Forster rain gauge, while Tuesday night’s low of 21 degrees was three degrees above the December average.
Following Tuesday’s warm night the day-time temperature only managed to climb another three degrees to 24.
Despite the cloud cover, the UV index will remain extreme.
