The Forster Golf Club was a vision of festive cheer when (University of the Third Age) U3A students and friends celebrated Christmas.
More than 70 attended Thursday’s (December 6) lunch – just one of the many social occasions the group holds throughout the year.
“We also have a Sunday lunch club and breakfast club,” vice-president Jan Wagstaff said.
“U3A isn’t all about serious stuff,” she said.
Mrs Wagstaff described U3A as life long learning.
“It keeps the brain working.”
Classes will resume in February of the new year.
About 180 attend classes which are held morning and afternoons at the Cape Hawke Surf Life Saving Club rooms.
