The event was held over the weekend of November 24-25, with competitors travelling from Bulahdelah in the south and the QLD border in the north to participate.
From Forster Aquatic, Eva Green was the 10 years girls age champion, and Harrison Tancred took the title for the 10 years boys.
In the 17 and over events, Claire Van Kampen was the champion for girls and Dane Jeffrey took the title for the boys.
Swimming North Coast publicity officer, Faye Rowles said there had been a massive increase in entries this year.
“The overall entries stand at 3552 including relays which is a rise of 530 on last year and the swimmers count is 446, a rise of 52 on last year,” Faye said.
“More than 100 championship area records fell during the weekend.”
Swimming at this event was part of the criteria for the area development squads membership for next year’s squad days.
