
The line-up and event dates for the 2019 Myall Lakes Seniors Concert Series has been announced this week.
As part of the NSW Seniors Festival, concerts will be held at Club Forster on Monday, March 4 at 10.30am and 2pm, and Club Taree on Tuesday, March 5 at 10.30am and 2pm.
The 2019 line-up features classical and contempory vocalist Alex Blandino, instrumentalist Paul Cincotta, Australia’s number one ventriloquist Darren Carr and vocalist, Jenifer Green.
Myall Lakes has the greatest proportion of people aged 65 and over in the State, and the concerts have proved to be very popular with more than 3000 attending last year.
Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead said the government is committed to helping seniors’ live vibrant and active lives in regional NSW.
“I believe we should provide the best possible care for all communities, no matter what your postcode is,” Mr Bromhead said.
“Our seniors can again look forward to a terrific line up of talented artists who love entertaining our audiences.”
Tickets are free and will be available for all seniors and their carers from January 7, 2019 at Club Forster and MidCoast Council Chambers in Taree.
